Hi everyone, (first post)
I have already been diagnosed with ADD by a specialist clinic. The psychiatrist there told me to find a family doctor to just write me a prescription. He said going to a psychiatrist for this was overkill. Everything I've read says you should find a doc who specializes or has a good knowledge of these meds. I've searched and searched for ADD docs in N. MI. but I just keep coming up with lots of pediatricians (I'm an adult). If I was a little kid this would be no problem. Anyone know of a good family doctor near Traverse City, MI that is knowledgeable about ADD meds, treating ADD?
