For as long as I can remember, I have eaten food "in reverse order of preference". For example, if I have dinner, I will eat the different types of food starting with my least favourite, working through, leaving the best (usually the meat) until last. I also do this with smaller meals and with something like a Curry; a plate of rice and meat mixed together, I will eat sides first (Onion Bhaji, Samosas) and then eat the majority of the rice next, leaving mostly meat left to eat last.
I even do this with different flavours of the same food or sweets; so if I had a packet of Jelly-Beans, I will eat them in in order, always eating the Orange and Lemon first, leaving my preferable flavours of say, Strawberry, Blackcurrant or Apple until last.
I never deviate from this. Ever (unless it's completely out of my control), and the reverse order of preference thing seems to seep over into other areas of my life; being an avid Movie Collector, if I buy a batch of Blu-Rays, I will work out an order to watch in, working up to the one I'm most looking forward to seeing. Anyone else do this?
