Feel like giving up
I was planning to walk away from home yesterday and never come back, one of my few friends decided to turn up at my door and scupper my plans, but in all honesty im tired of being a 23 year old unemployed socially awkward person, im 23 years old, and people who are 16-17 bully me
and I don't want to think about it getting better anymore because i believe it is a lie we tell ourselves to keep going
im not going to make any friends by saying this, but im a christian, and i believe that Adam and Eve had a perfect set of DNA with no issues. I believe that DNA is degenerating, and that autism is a result of genetic decay, it is not an improvement on mankind
lets think about this. when you copy something, you can either copy it perfectly, or imperfectly, you cannot copy something 'more perfectly' so its either perfect, or it has errors, and its same with DNA, you cannot add information to DNA, only subtract it, or modify it, and modifying it does not produce anything useful
Don't let it get you down.
Having friends who care enough to keep you going are called REAL friends or True friends.
Many of us have been there at one time or another.
I wouldn't be here today, if it wasn't for my friend.
Also ignore the bullies, they are just as damaged if not more damaged than us.
they just feel the need to put it off on others.
As for being unemployed: Most industrial/developed countries have high unemployment rates for people under 35.
From what I've been told from foreign students at college, India, China and Brazil have a higher unemployment for that group than the West.
Though you if have a disability, you should be able to join a government employment for the disabled to help get you into a job.
Lastly if you ever that down on your luck, try actually being open with people close to you.
You'd be surprised at how understanding they can be.
Or go to bar, those good looks of yours should get you some positive attention ![]()

You might want to read a bit more about DNA, evolution and science in general. I'm sorry you're feeling depressed but that doesn't give you the right to arbitrarily mix religious and scientific concepts to create a rationale for your sense of helplessness and to imply that we are all genetically flawed in some vague way.
Do you have any interests that you enjoy? Are you seeing any medical professionals to treat your depression? You have a 'few' friends which is something to be grateful for. What exactly happened recently that caused these feelings to develop?
Don't mention it.
Though feel free to PM me, if you need to talk or just want a buddy to chat with.

Living cells have a number of tricks to correct DNA replication errors, and environmental selective pressure tends to make sure that only viable DNA survives. And some mutations are beneficial, by sheer accident, and these superior forms will reproduce faster. So if anything, DNA is improving, in terms of adapting us to the environment.
Mind you, I can see why anybody might think the human race is getting worse. As individuals we might be reproducing and surviving very well, but I'm not convinced there's been an improvement in the social thing. Possibly because the human race is too successful, it's overcrowded the planet. Social evolution also happens, and that doesn't necessarily mean that people are getting any nicer.
Best not to brood over it really. I don't think running away from it would help, problems seem to have a way of following us about. Basically we're stuck with what we've got, so all we can do is try. I don't think the human race will get any better, but if an individual works at making themselves more comfortable, then life will usually get better for them.
You're only 23 years old. You have lots of time. Please don't walk away--it'll only make things worse.
I don't believe in Adam and Eve--but you believe in it--and that's all right by me.
It seems as if the economy is getting a little better. And you have at least a little college, I believe--if you haven't already graduated.
With diligent application, I'm sure you'll get a job soon.
Are you going for some sort of trade where you get a "diploma?"
Don't worry about being "behind" in education. I didn't get my bachelor's degree until I was 45!
Have you been able to obtain any A-Levels?
If you got at least three A-levels, especially if you got a C or above in them, your educational level would be equivalent to about two years of "college" in the US.

Why encourage his delusions? Believing in Adam and Eve is NOT fine. It's preposterous.
And OP, you obviously have no clue about DNA, evolution, or even religion if you think Adam and Eve were real. The best advice someone can give you is to read. And not the goddamn bible.

I'm not a christian but I think thats rude, you can't go tell someone what to believe and call their beliefs delusions, people should respect and support eachother not disrespect eachother

will you at least accept the possibility that there might be a God? believing categorically that there is no God is the most stupid of views, you can't possibly prove it. the chance of even one of the many amino acids required to create the simplest protein is 0, it is mathematically impossible for any life form to come into existence at random, let alone with all the amino acids in the correct order. that said im not angry at your comment, i was an atheist for 21 years of my life, what right have I to judge you
You believe DNA is degrading and causing autism. Fine. It will continue to degrade until the number of autistic people will overtake neurotypical people. 'Normal' people will become the minority. They will have to adapt to fit in to the new society, just as we have to adapt now to fit in with the neurotypicals in this present system of things. Shortly, there will be a new world order. Autistics will rule the world. This theory is rather cheerful as far as I'm concerned. No need to give up.
Seriously, though. Don't give up. The new world order may need you.

It's like I'm sleepwalking
It's best not to waste your breath... er... typing, I guess, not breath... on calling someone out for that one. It doesnt work. I've tried, as it bugs the hell outta me when people do that. It's derpy, too.... many of those that dont believe in things, jump into conversations where they are not wanted, and shove their un-beliefs at people... JUST as a true religious fanatic might. I'm never sure wether that's really funny or just sad. It's seriously best to just ignore them.
And to any others thinking of posting stuff like that, it's NOT going to help the OP, that's for sure, posting crap like that here in this thread. Let them believe what they believe. Dont make things worse by trying to shove them in a direction that just isnt right for them. Dont bother responding to ME, either, as it'll do literally nothing.
And to the OP; it sounds to me like maybe you do indeed need to get out of... wherever you are, if you're surrounded by jerks that bully you like that. Try not to let them get to you so much; people like that are just as worthless as the pathetic insults they spray at you. I usually dont even respond, myself... just glare & stare until they get uncomfortable or just bothered by the lack of the reaction they were hoping for.
But regardless of that... maybe you need to try something new? I'm not sure just what that could really be, but going in a totally new direction towards a new goal might help you, and encourage a better mood as you explore it further. And you could learn useful things from such a venture, too. And simply finding something to do, something you can dedicate your time towards, might help more than you would think. I'm not saying that just abruptly leaving home is necessarily a good idea, but... I've no way of truly knowing that. If you really think it might help, then do so.
Autism can be aggravating as heck, I know. But it's not impossible at all, or even close to it, to achieve things for yourself (whatever those things may be, they could be anything at all) that will boost your mood instead of lowering it. Just dont give up, is the best advice I could possibly give.
