Meaning like how many tries on each picture before you found the right word

Got 11/20 right on my first try. To some of them I used almost all the options before finding the right one.

I consider myself able to interpreting facial gestures, the result was a bit disappointing considering this.

Where do you find the test?

I did awful. I thought it would be easier. They were making very weird faces. Most of what I figured out was through process of elimination.

My total is zero because there's nothing there. That's a shame. I think I would've done well. :(

I did this test instead: http://kgajos.eecs.harvard.edu/mite/ Got 32 out of 36. The average score is 26.
Now I must confess. I've studied human expression (seriously, I did a course as part of my ASC qualifications) and there's a formula. Sadly, I can't do it irl because that would involve looking at people irl.

I only got 4 right on my first try. I honestly had no idea there were differences between some of those emotions!
For the one Raleigh posted however, I got 19 out of 36.

I posted this same question on a different forum that had nothing to do with ASD and most were worse than you lol so don't feel bad. It's just a really hard test, I guess.

24 out of 36 on your test. Nothing for the other one as it didn't open up on my iPad.

^ Yeah, I'm using an iPad too. Thought that might be the problem.

28 out of 36

I found this test harder than the first one. I'm not a native speaker, maybe I would have got more points if that were the case?

I got 29.
"individual results ranged from 17 to 35 as many factors may affect performance: the lighting, the quality of your screen, your emotional state, fatigue, not to mention knowledge of the English language."
I felt I was guessing a lot of the time, or that I could only narrow the choice down to 2 that both seemed unlikely to be correct. And for a lot of the pictures of women with makeup, I couldn't see much emotion at all. I suppose if I'd completely guessed them all, I'd have scored about 16. I don't know the probability of scoring 29 by pure guessing, but I imagine it's fairly low.

So, I don't know how valid the test is, but it's always a relief to get a normal result.
