Just a heads up about a possible autism resource in the Pacific Northwest. I recently found out about the Northwest Autism Foundation, over at www.autismnwaf.org. I went to one of their meet-and-greet sessions last night and found it to be a very positive experience. They hold them twice a month at the Doubletree in Portland. One session is on a Tuesday morning and one is on a Wednesday evening.
Their director, Beth McShane, outlined their near-future plans, which I found to be very exciting.
