I was reading patient reviews online and found contradicting views. From OMG! weight gain or 30 min. after the pill MAJOR dizziness to "Best thing in there lives" helped with worrying 24/7. I'm 156lb. so I DON'T need another weight gain pill!! and I HATE dizziness!! !! A little alcohol and I'm "tipsy" and lightheaded I HATE THAT FEELING so I've never been "officially" "drunk" puking etc. BAD DRINKING that is. Any experience with the drug. Thanks! I like you can get off of it. She gave me only 30 days and I see her every 3 months. She mention 1 a night week 1 then twice day (M & N) then if I start feeling better I can stop taking them. UH OK WEIRD! You'd think finish taking the whole bottle!! !

:-)

I was on Baspar for one year to help take the edge off my anxiety and help with my blood pressure. It took the edge off the anxiety. I began noticing dizziness in the mornings and a general feeling of floating around. That would wear off within an hour, but it was a concern. After a year, I decided to stop taking Buspar. I have been off of it for a year and a half now. My anxiety issues are largely under control and my blood pressure is still doing okay with my regular blood pressure medicine.

I believe Buspar works with anxiety issues. But I did have dizziness and floaty feelings with it. I took one pill a day.

I was on it for a while in my teens and I felt it didn't have much affect for me. It did help with my anxiety but it didn't last all day and I had no side affects.
