This is a symptom of my impulsivity, my mind just skips a beat as I read directions and a crucial detail missed in the reading bites me in the butt. I care a great deal about closely following the directions and getting the job done right, yet it always seems that I'm learning as I make mistakes, as opposed to before mistakes can be made. This tends to go against aspergers and close adherence to details; maybe it's early frustrations with reading fluency or reading comprehension (ie a deep rooted aversion to reading) or my strong ADHD, I have a really hard time soaking in every bit of information as I go along, and in both class and work settings, and it seems like a never ending pattern: I can say I'll nail down the instructions this time, yet in some shape or form some important detail I missed seems to find me again.
