Does anyone else experience extreme difficulty making even the smallest decisions? I have to play out all possible outcomes in my head before I can comfortably decide on something. Even things so small as what to eat. I can sometimes spend hours trying to decide.

I always think too much before making a decision, but it's probably not a bad thing.

Yes! That's one of my biggest problems. I've mentioned my indecisiveness here many times. I seriously think it's a mental disorder. Life feels so overwhelming because of all the little and big decisions that I have to make every day, such as which watermelon looks most delicious in the supermarket. I get really stressed out about that sort of thing. I sometimes wish that I had an intelligent robot that goes everywhere with me to consider all variables and make the best decisions for me about everything, such as whether to have coffee or tea.

"Executive Functioning" is a wide ranging description which includes decision making. Common in Autism and other conditions.
