I have been porting on here but I cannot fix my problem! I am homeschooled and think I that I very very likely have aspergers I asked my mom a simple question am I autistic she said "she would know." Let me give you a rundown of my traits. I have been into art since I was a very young been anti social for ever. If I had been social anyway it would be socially inappropriate or negative to others! Sometimes I doubt it have aspergers or even consider it a thing when I try to be social and I am absorbed into art and computers more than people.

Is there any chance you can talk to a psychologist or other mental health professional? Because that's the only way I know of that you can get an official diagnosis. If that option is unavailable to you, my suggestion is to read up on Asperger's to see if you have the symptoms.

OK, Relax, take it easy.
I (A person on the Internet), diagnose you as being thirteen.

Just trying to be social would be an autism fail in some circles.

The worst known condition in our society is incurable, and called High School. It is self curing, just wait till Twenty.

There are no sure symptoms of autism. I have known people who I was sure were, who could not fix computers.

Art peaks in Second Grade, when almost everyone can, then goes into remission in most, till as adults they have lost all creativity. Most confusing, those into Computer Graphics, who are as non autistic as can be. They went for CG for the big money, they lack both autism and artistic merit.

There is an uneven distribution of human skills. Personality types vary, some are outward, some inward, age matters, and we have the lot showing up here.

Autism is a Pop Science thing, nothing has been Discovered, just the names have been changed. Shy became introvert, when people learned more than three letter words, and Autistic when they into Science.

In ancient times the 1960s, people who read outside of school work were called "Bookish". Most thought they were Anarchist, Atheist, and Communists, but a hundred years before, they were called, "Possessed by Demons."

You have a right to remain silent, never say anything that can be used against you, refer all questions to your lawyer, or Mom.

You are lucky, this is the best of times to be thirteen. True, childhood has been abolished because they were just running, jumping, playing, learning, and having fun, so Real Americans put a stop to that nonsense.

There is no such thing as reality, just stand on a chair it is all different. The future is wide open, everyone lies about the past, and the present is boring.

Don't go overboard, moderation in all things, but do spend fifteen minutes a day improving yourself. It is nothing out of a day, but a hundred hours a year of directed action does pay off.

Autism means turning within, I recommend it, being centered on yourself, a patch of calm in a hectic world.

All of the people who post here survived being thirteen, you will to.

I'm not sure where you live, but if it's anything like here in Australia, it's almost impossible to get a formal diagnosis when you're an adult. At 13, you should take advantage of all of the medicos, psychologists etc who focus on childhood autism spectrum. Don't leave it til later.

Things seem to be better here, in Washington state, USA. I got an official diagnosis as an adult from the same psychologist who had diagnosed my daughter with PDD-NOS.

Whatever steps you take, I hope it works out well for you and you do get the diagnosis.
