Funnily enough, it fits me to a tee. When I became depress I lost interest in my special interest, which, caused me to lose a lot of enjoyment out of my life.

Thanks for putting up the link, I can identify with a lot of this, I recently had a couple of meltdowns at work and am now signed off, I suffer from depression as well as a few other things and since the recent meltdown I have lost interest in the things that were keeping me going

Same here. It is extreme anhedonia.

During a very turbulent period of my life, part of the losses I experienced were two of my all consuming hobbies, I didn't loose interest in them, they abruptly became unavailable, and it was very distressing. I felt so childish and guilty for missing them in a profound way, because I had the contrast of real grief.
They are both available to me again, but I cannot motivate myself to re engage with the most significant one. I think it's anhedonia.
