Do you have trouble maintaining a stable body force? Sometimes when I try to pick up something for example a pencil sharpener my arm ends up kicking it to the ground and making noise, then people in class stare at me like I was a monster.

Do you ever have similar issues?

The only place anyone has spotted this for me is driving. I am unintentionally hard with the controls of the car. And I started off too light with them :| My driving teacher does find it quite funny but she's not convinced when I tell her I'm not doing it on purpose. I have to really focus to be gentle.

Rather typical.

Typical among autistics or people in general?

I tend to go to one extreme or the other, either I use too much force, or not enough force to accomplish what I'm trying to do. Like I either slam the door too hard, or it doesn't even click shut.

I also have a way of just dropping things or slinging them somewhere because I lose my grip on them, or get too tired to set them down properly.

Typical among aspies- and autistics in general, I suppose. Many have a tendency to bump into things and knock things over - or having difficulty regulating force: slamming doors too hard, putting down a glass with a bang or maybe drop it instead.
The proprioceptive sense is the sense of body and movements in the room, - where exactly your limbs are.
It can be a little off in asperger brains.

I'm ok at it but my youngest brother has issues with it.
