I always thought it was funny when people move their hands, smile, nod and perform other nonverbal gestures while on the phone. I'm curious to know if aspies do this.

Do you?

I do sometimes. I don't know why, though!

I play with things in my hands instead.

Honestly never thought, I'm usually too focused thinking about what to say.

Yes and I always feel silly when I do because I know that the other person can't see it but it happens anyway.

that is sorta the equivalent of the kids in "ET" pedaling their bikes while they are flying on their bikes through the air.

I don't think I do, I guess I can't watch myself from an outside perspective tho. When I talk on the phone any length of time I will pace so much I'll get dizzy, walk around aimlessly, fidget with anything I can get my hands on, whatever.
