It seems as every week goes by, I feel more and more depressed when Friday rolls around and I have nothing to do.

:(

I actually enjoy Friday nights because I can have a lovely weekend of "doing my own thing" without school in the way. Do my own studying as it were. And to take a breath after the week.

What is it that you do when you are not
on a weekend?

I used to be in the same rut. I solved it by planning in advance for weekends. You don't have to have a date to do things. There are lots of things to do alone and if you go to some places alone, you may not wind up that way.

I still get bug-eyed responses when I tell people that most of my Friday and Saturday nights (okay, ALL of them) consist of watching the movie channels until 4 in the morning by myself. Like I couldn't possibly have blood pumping through my veins without going out to a club or something on non-school nights.

I actually went to a club once, and the entire time I sat in the back waiting to go home. So I guess it's just better to do whatever you're most comfortable with, which is hanging out at home alone watching tv, and be glad you aren't spending your time wildly enjoying raccoon eyes, ringing ears and hangovers.

why don't you do on a Friday what you do on a Thusday? get out some DVDs and watch a movie with family or friends, or even on your own.
