That study is 3 years old, so I wonder if there's been any further research done since then. It does sound promising, though. I recently started taking turmeric as a dietary supplement (750mg, twice a day). Among other proven benefits, it does have strong antioxidant properties. I don't feel that it's significantly altered my outlook, although it does seem to be helping with my blood sugar (I'm diabetic). Of course, I'm not a child, either.
