Have you ever been wronged and "paid it forward"?
If so, please share your story.
Here's mine:
Over the years, I've received negative treatment from people, ranging from restaurant cashiers to retail clerks. Being shy, I never, ever complained. Just endured the treatment and felt rotten afterward.
Well, today decided I had enough. Went to a local bookstore chain and complained about this cashier who had been rude to me every time I inquired about a book. The manager was very sympathetic and said that she would tell him about my complaint. Boy, did I feel good afterward! The cashier is still working at the store to this day - and I'd quit frequenting the store for nearly 5 months before logging in the complaint. Sends a message to bullies all around: You treat a shy or awkward person badly, and the person may take months or years to gather up the courage to make you accountable....so watch your mouth!
I also logged onto a popular rating site for businesses (not sure if the name of it is allowable to post here), and negatively rated several businesses that were especially rude. Even went so far as to give the first name (or physical description) of the rude person so that they (and their bosses) would KNOW who they are!
So, have any of you been wronged recently; if so, how did you "pay it forward"?
