Echolalia and Asperger's

Yes, echolalia is common with Asperger's. I'm not sure what you mean by qualify as having Asperger's. They're not really distinctly different things. Even under the old DSMIV system there weren't a lot of differences between the diagnosis criteria, mostly just what age you first spoke at.
