I had been reading about autism on the net and found it that way.

Wikipedia, of course. A more interesting question would be "How many of you didn't discover this site through wikipedia?". :D

Same, Wikipedia. For those who go through Wikipedia, the better way to answer would be "What brought you to look up Autism and AS and inadvertently find WP?"

Mine would be that AS was being mentioned again as an aspect for my exams. I knew about it before, but never really noticed or took much bother. I decided to look it up and had the usual "Oh God, this is me!" but I also had "Hey, that's damned cool!" I clicked on WP and looked around, but was too nervous to join. Once I got banned from GameFAQs, I took to WP to take up my time, and found a great community and, exactly a week later, found my true love, Sophie!

EDIT: Congrats on 1200 posts T-rav!

A friend sent me the url - just that, no text. She's not AS, I don't know how she found it but I'm glad.
