I don't know, but the comic strip makes me giggle. I think he has exaggerated traits commonly associated with Engineering professions; his outlook on the social side of life, and his interactions could be Aspie-ish.

After watching the Dilbert cartoon, I asked myself that same question. Dilbert is one of the character that I relate to the most. He has a knack for technology, likes honesty, has a narrow social life, ...
I would say that he's definitely on the spectrum, but not high enough to be diagnosed with an ASD.

Dilbert is a cartoon character, and not a real person. Therefor, he can not have an ASD, but may only be a caricature of a person with an ASD. As such, I think he's just another NT surrounded by archetypes of dysfunction.
