Never thought of it before, but I recently found out that you can buy analog clocks that don't tick--just got one made by Seiko yesterday.

Aw crap now I have become hyper aware of my clock's ticking :(

But no, that is cool, I've seen ones where the second hand is moving continuously and they don't tick :P

That's cool.
I've seen those before, but I don't like analog clocks because it takes me too long (several seconds) to visually process it and figure out what time it's showing.

Yes, I don't hear anything, even in the basement. It is rather noisy where I live--I even heard a bird chirping while I was down there...

I got it for my office--I'm lucky enough to have a real office with a door I that can close to keep the noise out. :D
