I graduated with my Masters degree in history! Many people, including a vocational counselor, told me I would have a difficult time with graduate school because of Autism. Graduate school was difficult, but I proved them wrong. As they said in the 1970's: Sometimes you need to "Keep on Truckin'" Have a great day everyone. :D

Thank you to everyone! I focus on American agricultural history. It is interesting to see how technology has evolved which allows only two percent of the American population to feed much of the world. If my physician lets me, I would like to advocate for the American farmer, but I am open to other work, especially in a museum.

Congratulations and good for you :)

A wonderful example of not listening to the discouragers who think in "can't" stereotypes about anyone on the ASD spectrum. You can, and you did. Encouragers can make a tremendous difference to people, and sometimes when they are not around, we have to encourage ourselves, or find it in books, films, whatever. Did you find some source of encouragement along the way?

One of my physicians was extremely encouraging. He went "above and beyond" in assisting me.

My focus is on American agricultural history. That is neat you mentioned Russian history, because my final semester I took a Russian class and my professor was cool and let me focus on Soviet agriculture. Soviet ag became confusing at times. lol.
