Hi there, I attempted to do some research on autism a little while ago, but unfortunately the participants were just nonexistent, and I had nothing to work with. That can be found here, viewtopic.php?t=287204

Instead, I simplified things down to a 4 question survey. All the info you need to know is in the original post.

Here's the link to it,

Thanks in advance!

That was a easy survey.

I find it was a bit silly however. Especially the last question, autism doesn't influence facial characteristics. Haven't you heard that who can't tell just by looking at someone that they have ASD or not? It is in their behaviour usually.

That doesn't mean that it isn't worth researching the possibility of an association, especially given that ASD is a neurological condition and not well known. There could be many associations with it to other physical conditions that we don't yet understand. There was a theory going around that there could be an association between ASD and stomach disorders, so why not facial construction? Anything is possible until someone researches it and discovers that it is not possible.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how asking others to judge their appearance wouldn't provide all sorts of skewed results leading to false conclusions.

Did you know you can use software to measure points, ridges, crevices, tone, etc?

Did you also know that there is an entire thread (I believe it's sticky) dedicated to people who post images of themselves on this website? Several actually.

Just some things to consider.

Its the exact opposite of easy because i have no way to gauge my age to looks and don't ever ask others how old I look, and there's no idk option. Multiple choice doesn't work when all of the choices are wrong.

I think it can be related, particularly as people age. If those on the spectrum have a flatter affect, it could be likely that they don't wrinkle as much, for example.

What do you mean? What, in your opinion, do people with ASD look like?
