I have been looking into aspie meetup groups. The problem I see with most of them is that the activities that they do are not what I consider fun- they do bowling, arcades, and movies. I don't enjoy any of that- and it seems those are the activities most of them do. I mean those seem like the things a Christian high school small group would do -not a group of young 20 somethings(the age range of the groups that I am looking at). What about going to a bar, going to the beach , etc? General fun things I'd do more often if I knew more people.

I was goint to go to an all female aspie group. The leader called me on the phone and told me the time it is on and which day, and said she would email me the information too.

She forgot to email it all to me and I couldn't remember which day and time so i never went and I lost her number.
