How do I combat hypo-sensitive sensory issues? I usually feel very understimulated, it feels like a sensory overload but kind of the opposite (if that males sense)

It depends: which of your senses are affected?

When I have a general hypo feeling in the winter, the first thing I turn to is my mini-trampoline. It wakes me up within 1 minute or so (more than that, I start to feel hyper). Yoga and qigong have been helpful too, and I use other things which are more specific to one particular sense.

I don't know if it could be useful to you, but:
- Swimming in a salt pool or taking a bath can help with tactile and proprioceptive issues, because of the weight of the water
- Vestibular, I use a sitting hammock twice a day (using swings in the park can help as well) and a mini-trampoline helps too
- I also need a heavy blanket to sleep well, as it wakes up my skin and helps me "know" where my body stands in space. Heavy vests or compressions vests can be useful too.
- Many people find that brushing their skin with a surgery kind of brush also helps during tactile hypo moments. I use a natural bristle brush and sometimes do self-massages and they help too.

I hope you find something that helps you!

Thanks I will try some of those! Swimming is definitely helpful for me, I go quite a lot
