Whenever I'm having a meltdown, I feel a huge pressure on my head, start feeling time in slow motion and hear my breathing and heart beat. Is anyone else experiencing similar things or is it just me?

Edit: Also my vision becomes blurry.

i think that is just the anxiety that goes along with realizing how you are reacting. (which can in turn make a meltdown worse) i have had this happen to me. it is anxiety accompanying a meltdown (at least in my experience)

or just stress and anxiety in general, because a meltdown is a stress on your body and mind. you can have anxiety accompanying it

My friend doesn't often have meltdowns anymore but he used to throw chairs etc. even after it had finished.

I always become a lot more aware of my breathing and my heartbeat when I'm having a meltdown, especially when I start crying after all the other emotions subside. I don't feel a huge pressure on my head though, but more a tight, twisted feeling in my chest. By that point, meltdowns are really the only way I can make that feeling go away.
