What diagnostic tool was used when you where diagnosed?

For those of you diagnosed, do you know what diagnostic tool/guide was used?

I got the DISCO - Diagnostic Interview for Social Communicative disorders.

What I remember in 5th and 6th grade was filling out some questionnaire and my parents filled one out and my teacher. I don't remember if I took any other tests. Then I remember my psychiatrist looking at them. We saw him for a few months but it took lot of sessions for me to get diagnosed.

i was diagnosed at age 24 and i don't remember all of them but i remember the ADOS 2 and the vineland 2

I was diagnosed about 1964-1965, when I was three years old.

My behavior, and my cognitive reactions, was observed by a psychologist.

ADOS , Vineland adaptive, SRS (Social Responsiveness Scale). The test was thorough so I was evaluated for a lot of other things too.

I was diagnosed in 2013 at the age of 50. My testing included:

hard to say because i wasn't aware i was being diagnosed with anything at the time.

A few doctors were asking me questions. "do you have any friends?" is the only question i remember. Then they asked my dad a few questions about my early childhood. it was almost 5 years ago.

My assessment is next week but they've said they won't do the DISCO because it's more useful with an informant from the early developmental period (which I don't have).

They've got a set list of questions they use for the main ASD evaluation and the sensory processing screening which I've been mailed because I get very anxious when I don't know how things will pan out.

They may do an ADOS on the day if they feel it would be helpful.

I don't remember, I was like 14 and wasn't even aware that was what they were doing until I was diagnosed.

Young-looking but very ancient & old-geezers like me were given lots of questionnaires & assessments from a group of approximately seven of the « professionals » within a (military) psych-ward. They determined that I had A-S. I demanded to see the fMRI for myself regarding my brain versus the inferior/abnormal/neuro-typical brain (not actually worded this way but describing it in this manner as more of a parody) but they refused via claiming it too expensive. Like, what, turning on a button & displaying images is expensive ?

Exactly where does all that money actually GO and what is it that makes fMRI's expensive!?

For my first assessment (age 31), they administered the ADOS-2 (module 4). In addition to the ADOS evaluation I also took the following at the time:
Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales
Rey Complex Figure Test
Conners Comprehensive Behavior Ratings Scales-Self Assessment Report

However, they did kind of a crappy job writing up the results though, so I got sort of informally assessed later on by another therapist using the SRS-2 (social responsiveness scale).

For what it's worth, my son (2.5) was assessed using the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development and the Pervasive Developmental Disorder Behavior Inventory. Both of which were more questionnaire style tests. We've since moved states and he has to be evaluated again using the ADOS-2 (module 1) to qualify for services in our new state.
