Are School Psychologists generally good for diagnosis?
I am 99% sure I have nvld and not quite as positive but still pretty positive I have aspergers (36 on aq test, 122 aspie score 78 neurotypical, 149.0 on RAADS-R) (yes I know online tests aren't definitive but considered my consistent awkwardness among other things there probably right) and possible mild to moderate adhd (maybe adhd-pi I haven't looked into that one much honestly) and my parents want to get me tested through the school because if we don't get a diagnosis at a neuro psych then we would have to pay a ton of $ for the test were with the school its free. My concern is that the school psych could be inexperienced or just simply not as good as a actual psych. So can a school psych diagnose all or some (if not please specify which ones they can/can't) of the condition's I mentioned above? And are they good psychs?
