This is the best website I have come across that talks about body language. The page I linked to is is specifically on smiling. (There are additional links under "variant" so you can learn more.)

I do not smile enough, but I have found it helpful to practice making different smiles in front of the mirror so I not only know how they feel but also can recognize what they look like in others.

People say they like my smile when I smile...but I wonder if it just takes them by surprise and they're like "Whoa! You smiled!" and then compliment my smile to try and encourage me to smile more.

The right people get me to smile naturally (without thinking about it), but there aren't that many.

WOW, NG----that site is BEYOND excellent!! FINALLY, a site where everything's in ONE place!! I'm so glad you posted that----I bookmarked it, cuz I wanna do ALOT of studying (I need to learn the difference, I think, between "confident" and "too confident" [read, "arrogant"], for job interviews)! !

Fabulous! Like I said, I've learn so, so much from this site. I even once went on after an interaction with someone and realized that how I read the situation was correct! (I then learned *why* I was correct and more detail about what the other person's posture was communicating.) So glad you're finding it helpful!

You know how there's these categories, on the right-hand side of the pages? Well, they have numbers in parentheses, and I assumed that means that there are that many articles, in that section----but, I have yet to figure-out how to access ALL the articles, in a category----if, that is, in fact, what those numbers indicate.

Any ideas, NG?

(I've already read up to "G", BTW.)

Yes, the number is the number of articles. When you clicked on the link, did you scroll all the way down after the first article ended? I did that just now "by accident" and realized that the other articles follow all the references. Also, if there are many articles, there are multiple pages.

*IF* all this is not there, I must have access to them because I joined the site at one point. It was free.
