diagnose not taken seriously
This sounds weird to say this, but since I "only" have a diagnose of PDDNOS and not aspergers I feel like many family members are not taking my diagnose seriously. They seem to think "oh she is just exaggerating her problems" or "that is not a real problem"
And I actually feel like if I tell people about my diagnose they will think it is nothing serious or just think well if it was serious she would be diagnosed with aspergers not PDDNOS. Is it weird that I think this? And the fact that my parents seem to be completely oblivious to my diagnose (yes I was diagnosed by a doctor and they were present when the doctor have me my diagnose) is not making it easier for me. Although I do feel like my mother is starting to accepting me as having PDDNOS.
I feel like my issues are big enough to cause me problems in communication but not big enough for people to recognize it as a problem.
