USA: Feds go after Georgia psycho-ed schools and special ed

When I started in Kindergarten, I lived in Georgia. A few months after starting, I was removed for behavior problems and for having a severe language disorder and a moderate articulation disorder. I then went to a psycho-ed school like those mentioned in the article, according to my records. The speech-language problem improved, but in 1st grade (after we moved away from one part of Georgia to Kansas for a month, and then back to Georgia, but in another part) I got labeled as "severely emotionally disturbed." We moved from Georgia for good over winter break in 1st grade.
I don't have much of an opinion on it, but I think my parents weren't happy that I kept getting segregated from the "normal" kids, as they felt that the kids in special ed were a bad influence on me. I'm asking my parents what they think of this program in Georgia now.
