Treatment on aggression, self injury issue
I'm new here. I tried to use the search function and it did not work. Anyway, I'd like to hear parents' experience with medical treatment on their kids who have issues like aggression and self-injury. My son is 11 years old. We went through biomedical and traditional Chinese medicine. They did not work for extended time. Right now, he has been on risperdal for 2 months. Before my son was on tenex or seroquel, they did not work. We have some kind of up and down time, but in general, my son is under control. I feel that we need something else or add something extra . Thank you.
Welcome to Wrong Planet! I don't know a lot about this, sorry--you might get more responses in the parenting forum.
If the search function isn't working, you can always type into google "site:wrongplanet.net [insert search term here]" it's not a very convenient fix, but it is a fix.
