Do you?
Is it easy for you to keep your current sleep schedule going?
If not, is there something you do to make it easier?

I take Trazadone just to sleep at all. Even so I frequently only get 4-6 hours a night

If I have obligations that require me to be on a sleep schedule, I can usually keep it up well enough.

If not, it basically doesn't exist and it's not uncommon for me to be asleep or awake at any time of day.

No, never have. Unfortunately it's not really conducive towards working a typical 08:00-17:00 schedule either, so I have quite a few days where I'm tired. Sometimes I'm just focused on something and lose track of time, or my brain just flat out refuses to power down, and sometimes there's some kind of irritation when I'm trying to sleep. A lot of times it's the latter. I become hyper aware of every single noise... For example I'll zone in on the sound my husband makes when he exhales and it seems like it gets louder and louder until I have to get out of bed and leave the room for awhile. Recently my fan stopped working and the loudness of the silence in the room drove me crazy. There was something that was supposed to be there that wasn't.

Any time I take a vacation I completely indulge my insomnia though, I'll sleep two hours and be up another six hours, sleep two hours and rinse and repeat. The whole eight hour sleep concept doesn't agree with me at all.

Yes, and for that reason depression was ruled out. I have an incredibly regular sleep schedule. Go to sleep the same time, wake up the same time and rarely ever under/oversleeping. Always get at least 6 hours a night.

I have a quite regular wake/sleep cycle.
unfortunately, it has a 28-hour cycle, so it doesn't really fit with the professional world.
on the other hand, i only need 5 hours of sleep in these 28 hours (excluding recovery from social/sensory exhausiton), so i can keep up with 24-hours well enough

All kinds of sleep problems here. I have a circadian sleep disorder which means I'm nocturnal. Which would be fine if everything didn't have to be done during business hours because the rest of the human race are daytime animals.
I also have issues with I refreshing sleep, meaning I'll 'sleep' for eight hours and still be tired. Sound sensitivity issues also make sleeping through any kind of noise impossible even with earplugs.
Been on lots of medications, from temazepam to stilnox, but it doesn't work. FYI alcohol doesn't work either.
Its one of the common parts of autism that I really wish they could cure.

My sleep patterns were so out of whack it was ridicolus and made it extremely hard to maintain a normal life, let a lone a working life.

I'm currently taking 45mg's of Mirtazepine, 10 mg's of ambien, and 2mg xanax at night. This cocktail knocks me right out with in an hour and I only wake up 2-3 times during the night, always falling right back asleep with a little effort. I get on average 8 hours of sleep a night like this.

I generally do ok for sleep.

When I'm working I get about 7 to 8 hours a night.

I also use Mirtazapine I got mine down to 15mg from 45. I don't think I'd get any sleep otherwise.

Does it leave your mouth insanely dry when you wake up in the mornings or middle of the night?
I hate that so muuch, it can't be good for your teeth either.

No I have a bit of an insomnia case, if I, say, go to bed at 22:00, I'll only fall asleep at about 00:30 - 01:00. I wake up either early in the morning like 5:30 - 6:00 if I "program" myself to or I won't wake up until about 10:00.

Yes I suppose it does now I come to think about it. But I always have water close by anyway.

I get about 4-5 hours of sleep during weekdays, and about 6-7 on weekends.

I nap a couple of hours a day during weekends.

I don't take any medication. I am usually able to fall asleep pretty well, with the aid of listening to old baseball games on YouTube.

I have a regular sleep schedule but most people wouldn't call it normal.

I sleep between 3:00 and 11:00 AM, 7,5h straight without waking up in the middle and without much trouble falling asleep(about 30 mins).

I was able to keep up with 0:30-8:30AM schedule(7,5h of sleep+30mins falling asleep) on vacation trip when I had to but I automatically returned to my regular schedule the very first night the trip ended.

I am unable to fall asleep before midnight no matter what unless I am recovering from sensory overload episode but it is a sick tiredness and I literally can't function if I don't take a nap. I hate when my body forces me to go to sleep like that because late evening and early night are my favorite hours. The world is silent and dark then.
