Last night some i vaguely know said to in my local bar "you have classic aspergers"

What does classic Aspergers translate too?

At a guess, perhaps stereotypical Asperger's? No idea.

Maybe he meant that he can tell because it's very obivous from your symptoms?

Maybe stimming and social awkwardness...

Or maybe he didn't mean you have Asperger's, just that you act like someone with Asperger's.

'Classic Asperger's' means much the same as 'typical/stereotypical Asperger's'. It's rather like telling someone that they're a 'typical Piscean' etc ... In other words, it's virtually meaningless. The person who told you this has probably watched a few episodes of 'The Big Bang Theory', or read articles in the gutter press, and believes that that makes him/her an expert on autism.

It takes no account of you as a unique person.

Yuk. Find another bar.
