Autistics may find social interaction fraught with all kinds of horror, but it looks like NTs do too (that is I'm assuming this guy is NT). This made me laugh and thought people here could relate.

That's right, NT lives are all just fluffy beds of rose petals.

This is why I think it's ridiculous to armchair diagnose anyone the slightest bit socially awkward as having mild Asperger's. NTs also need to look up body language for job interviews, they can be socially awkward and struggle in jobs and relationships because of it, they can be lied to and manipulated. A lot of people here think NTs are perfect at socialising and great at manipulating but in reality that's probably closer to psychopaths.

In the UK there has been a recent TV series on channel called 'Very British Problems'

The first episode covered social awkwardness amongst the British

A lot of apparently normal people were expressing concerns and worries and confusion about a lot of stuff Aspies have trouble with

Um, this was supposed to be funny. Plus, I think this article and me (along with anyone else with a brain) is agreeing that NT lives, like everyone else's, are NOT easy. They get socially stuck too, which this author is pointing out with some good humour. I'd tentatively argue though that the difference is they understand, and many of us don't.

I find that link funny, as most people can relate to that to a certain extent.
