Recently , in this hospital-recovery facility I'm in , I've watched a lot of Doctor Who and Lockup (the MSNBC " jail/prison " reality series ~ I will assume the Doctor needs no introduction here ! !! !! !! !! :)) - Literally , recently I was watching Who because of this marathon run on BBC America of the last several seasons of the show . I was a fan of Who in the 90s ~ its " in-between years " , when it was out of production ~ but I have barely seen any episodes of the 21st Century series at all , due to being homeless and all that :( . (And , the subjects do reate to what I'm writing here ~ Besides , I want to/know how to attract eyeballs here ! :) Gotta get those clicks   .)
I saw all/a large percentage of maybe 6?? episodes plus I had the TV on as background noise to try and sleep to , so saw bits of more ~ At one point when a doctor was in to change the bandages on my foot wounds and saw it , and commented about what had happened in that season (the last minus one) , IIRC ~ This got me feeling depressed , left behind ~ I've been homeless so long , and , even before that my life never exactly " took off " (Sometimes I think I'll be pushed into some such " retirement " situation such as this ~ but I have no friends nearby , no money , and I still want to think some things lay ahead of me , can be accomplished :( )
I have just had ENDLESS IV's stuck into me during my time here , including permanent ports - including several PICC-Lines ~ Several , because they keep falling out/being pulled out accidentally (At least one nurse here seemed to , at least subconsciously/secondarily , believe that I had pulled he PICCs out myself . I wouldn't do that :( )
Actually , in all of my hospitalizations (Lots , over the last year :( . I think I've only mentioned the longer ones/ones where I had Internet access and so could post contemporarily here .) , I have been stuck and stuck again - I am always told by medicos that veins are hard to find on me so I get stuck & stuck again before an IV can be accomplished .
I had routine IVs here , I believe , plus PICCs , plus , in times after PICCs fell out , permanent ports on a " regular " IV level , such as now ` where , close to where my fingers end , the IV port and tube sticking out , with tape on it to keep it down , is on my right hand now , having been jerked around/bumping into the computer keyboard as I tytyped , making me worry that I'd tear the IV post out here and get the nurse/s mad ~ They said before after the last PICC-Line accidental tearing out that I wouldn't get a PICC again , so I got just the permanent IV port in t hand near my fingers - after umpteen attempts to do so in my upper (either) arm had failed , umpteen stickings of me , had failed...I guess I'm officially on less than a week til' getting discharged here for my insurance running out , so , I guess they didn't want to bother :| ...

...Really , I have been ENDLESSLY stuck , what with the fell-out PICCs , especially , and every time IVs into me are attempted they have to stick me AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN :x to find a vein and , as said , I have had these plastic posts that stick out of my IVs dangling from my arms :( ...I am glad to be getting the care , but it's been HOURS of lying in bed receiving IVs every day~ And , my time is running out , and , I'm not sure that my below the amputated toes  wounds will really heal by the time I am discharged and I assume I'll be discharged to being homeless again and this hospitalization will have used up my Medical insurance for a whiole to come , I don't think any " place to rest " will manifest itself , mybe ~ IF I'm lucky ~ a shelter , where I'd have to , if lucky , at least leave my stuff there during the day ~ If lucky :( ~ but have to follow U.S. Navy hours of clearing out likely before 7 AM (or before 6 AM as happened before in the Watsonville shelter) and wander about all day and come back at 6 or so to get supper and wait around til' bed ~ And , as I said , I rather overused the computer here , my arms/tendons rather hurt/ache , even as I write this . :
I sure won't have a place to rest my arms during the day ! :( I mentioned that foot medico and Doctor Who ~ he spoke about re-checking the past season - On Netflix , he said - and I thought about how I havem missed so much - Not of just Doctor Who , I mean my life in general ~ I feel like " the train's left the station " , in many ways  .
Maybe I'll even spare you one more crying rant about my desire t
to go to uni ~ sleepaway " normal " college , and how even the setting up of it (Including going to community college/similar before that , I'm not saying I refuse to " prove I deserve it/pay my dues " even the CC component is looking rather non-setuppable :( ) .
I do believe I'll be discharged on Thurs. or so with only what's on my back , remember ~ I have a little accumulated SSDI money , but ,it'll go fast especially if I do get important/desired things as well as just food/temptations :( - As for Lockup , well , my portion of the room I'm in is smaller than the 23-hours-lockup cell that I was in in Santa Cruz in jail this last June (though , granted , more " stuff " , etc. - Also , I am grateful , again , to have at least received this medical , though I do wonder however whether I will be totally healed when I walk out ~ I see , on Lockup , people imprisoned who're transferred for punishment to 23-hours in a cell max imprisonment ~ s**t , I got that for 10 days just for graffiti ! :x
People released from calaboose on Lockup did (sometimes) leave to join family memebers/have such visitors in the jug ~ I didn't receive that and I have been touched so little in the post-my parents' death years/this century .

Addition ~ Maybe this is all a bit incoherent , It's 8 A.M. , I've been up all night I just wanted to get this up though I rather shat it all out ~ The Broadway show cast LP to Hypsy , with Ethel Merman and Jack Klugman , plays as I do this :| ...

...I know I tend to " sputter " , sort of speak the topic in all directions , not organize the direction of it too well , get caught up in my own structural things which mystify everyone else :|...I used to tend to talk that way in conversation , maybe less so now :? ...........
