I tend to cry over anything and everything. I cry for the silliest little things. Every day almost I'm in tears over something.....something that happened to me or because im so stressed or angry. At least its better than screaming and having a fit, right?

Is this "normal"?

I don't. Haven't for years. Which is great for me, as I find any dramas of emotion to be uncomfortable.

It's a release and it's harmless, so it shouldn't be viewed as a bad thing. It can be uncomfortable for some people to see another person cry but I think most would accept somebody who cries often as being "emotional".

I cry a lot, for all kinds of reasons, though mostly out of anxiety, disappointment, or embarrassment. It is a release for me. I get overwhelmed by emotions, and they spill-over into crying. It doesn't take much, unfortunately. I feel like I am always very full of emotion, so it doesn't take a lot to make me overfull, which leads to the crying.

I probably cry a little bit at least every-other day.

I don't cry too often at all.

I cry, usually, out of some sentiment, or out of some frustration.

I'm the same, except it's pretty much every day almost.

I don't cry in public.

I probably cry an average of five of seven days a week, too. It's partially hormones and partially just my personality. Strong emotions will trigger it, as will other things. Strangely enough, movie scenes where non-human things appear to show devotion to each other will have me in tears. My therapist said that wasn't actually empathy. She's probably right, because when she got a paper cut shortly after saying that I felt the tiniest flicker of smugness rather than shared pain.

;-)

Not very often, just when there are certain triggers.

Me, too, I cry a lot too, and often for the most ridiculous reasons. I even feel ashamed afterwards for some reason.

Hardly ever. Maybe once every second year, maybe less.

If it makes you feel better and since it doesn't harm others, go for it. I used to cry over little things. People called me sensitive. But you know what? I don't care what they think anymore.

More so when I'm worried about someone, usually privately. I usually get too finicky to inquire to them, far too many relationships I've withdrawn from when I feel guilty about being happy - after a long period where its based on negativity.

It's pretty rare for me to cry, I usually don't if not under the influence of drugs. Without their influence I think the last time I cried was several years ago.

I probably cry a few times a week, when I have meltdowns.
