Hello, this is my first time on here. I'm basically here to ask if maybe some of you think I could have ASD/Asperger's and should get refereed to a specialist. So I suffer from stress, anxiety and depression and through these anger. I was going to Counselling (a while ago, I no longer go) and I was explaining what I was like and they said it sounds like I may have attention deficit disorder AKA ADD. After looking into ADD I found things that can be confused or come with ADD and happened to read upon ASD/Asperger's and found many of the symptoms relatable such as prefering to be alone, having obsessive thoughts and ways I like things to be. Having trouble making and keeping friends. Being socially awkward and always being nervous in places with many people or parties. Trouble keeping on top of work when I was at college and barely scraping a pass and changing my mind all of the time and never knowing what I want to do with myself. Also having narrow interests and beliefs which i take personal insult to if talken bad about.

I wasn't asking for a diagnosis. Only, if you think I should look more into it or see a doctor about it.

I'd say go for the diagnosis(especially if it helps you) as it may give you a better understanding as to why you are the way you are.

Go to see a professional because your issues are impairing your life. As for ASD it involves a lot lot more then social ackwardness.
