Recently I rented this book (and more specifically its Polish translation) from the Library of my beloved University of Wroclaw, where I am a student.

I'm not as brilliant as Jake from the books, but I also have some talent, my mother also had various problems with me when I was little.
Today, I told my mom that she also may have to write a book about me, my mom Jake about him, after all, my life is well worth the perpetuation of the pages of history.
My mom smiled when she heard that :D

;-) I finally read this book and I loved it. The book reminded me so much of myself and my son. Sadly, somewhere along the way, I moved away from home and as my life spiraled out of control (being away, in a chauvinistic society with a husband who took advantage of that), I deviated greatly from what I did for many years. Lately I have been trying to get back on track and ignore my home life as much as possible and thought I'd pick up the book to see if it had any tips. It's given me the strength to get back to where we were 4 years ago and move away from my current situation.

Jacob's mom is a true hero. She reminds me of Raun Kaufman's mom just a bit as well.

I'll have to look for that book. We need more positive books like this. I want to read The Spark and Neurotribes.
