Need to build an app, would like some feedback

I have to pick my final project for my programming class, and I would like to do something autism related. Maybe some kind of executive function app or something like that, but I don't know how that would look. I might instead just do like a rating system for providers, as it is hard to find good help. Does anybody have any good ideas for apps they would like or use? Thanks guys.

Just off the top of my head, what about something that concentrates and white lists reliable sources, support groups, online resources, reliable online tests and forums?

Here is an example: I was following links about tests, different types of tests, etc. One of them was on the (I think) OKCUPID. Now, I really don't think my wife would like signing up for something like that, eh?

That should be noted and maybe not blacklisted as I can see someone using the site. But, noted with white listed alternatives would be helpful.

Interactive:
Something that produces a sound and visual stimulus that could be adjusted the consumer to use for calming effects. Sound could be optional for the individual since some will just put in their own 'vibe' music. Maybe something that reacted to touch giving people a chance to interact with the background and trace out things with the fingers or stylus.

Kitschy:
Thought of the day geared towards different variations of the spectrum. Could be user geared to control the emotional level provided in the thought. Children vs adults would be an example.
