I love physical affection

In twelfth grade I was friends with two girls from another class and they would let me hug them and kiss them on the cheeks. I loved that! I wish I could find a girl to cuddle with, but sadly the chances of that happening are negligible.

If you really need it...
Look for conventions (anime or whatever) where you suspect you can get "free hugs".
Then go there and hug people.
I once hugged +100 people in one day on such an occasion.

I can't do that. I have a real aversion to strangers touching me. I hate when people do that hug thing on the first meeting. The only people I like touching me are the few I am close to. Even then, it's mostly awkward for me.

As for physical affection, I am all for it. It seems to be the only indicator I can read that some really likes me. I just have to like them back.

Sounds really great. Wish such events were easily available where I live.

I've heard of 'Cuddle Parties' before. I don't know if they're still a thing or even how to find one. I also recall an interview with an "escort" (technically they're not, but I don't know what else to call them. They don't go all the way, but they do, in general, help people get off) who said she's had clients who didn't want to do anything sexual and just wanted to cuddle.

I like physical affection, but I need an emotional connection. Otherwise it kinda freaks me out.

I did that but at a Christian music festival. Easily one of the best days of my life. Now I'm wondering how friendly people at cons are and if I'd fit in with them.

envy. my town is too small for those. have to schlepp all the way to LA.

Oh, I had to take the bus/train to get to another city for it... I too live rather reclusive.
And I would never have done this, hadn't my neighbor mentioned it and gone with me.

Hmm... let's just say lotsa cosplaying.

people should keep their hands to themselves because i do not know where they have been.
people pick their noses and wipe their bottoms and pick their teeth and touch garbage with their hands so i am not happy with having them touch me.
even if they are clean, their skin is flaking with dead cells and they must rub off on me if they touch me. yuk.

but there is a girl down at the supermarket who i do not feel any revulsion for when i consider physical affection. she seems close in design to my own physical makeup so maybe she and i can fight the same germs together.
i feel like i could touch her and let her touch me as easily as i touch myself. she is nice, but i rarely have need to go to that supermarket.
