parents keeping aspergers diagnosis from me, maybe?
Has anyone else dealt with the awkwardness of being pretty positive you have aspergers and thinking your family knows but just havent told you. I really want to find out for sure, but it would be awkward to go up to family and be like "hay do I have Asperger's" especially if they actually dont know. Theres times where my mom and sister have talked about aspergers and how they "think a coworkers son has it and how they feel sorry for the people that have it because sensory issues and how they can be very smart people." Its like they talk around the issue and get really close to telling me but staying enough away to keep me wondering. I know when I was younger than 16 I would have been in denial and would be angry at them but my gosh im 21 I really wish I could just know.... how much do you think it would cost me to get diagnosed? What is the process like and where would i get tested near northwest ohio-southeast michigan area.

I think you just have to ask and find out one way or another. As you said you are an adult now.
