Has anyone here published an article on the front page?
One of the reasons I sometimes get irritated here is because I feel like my views aren't being represented. I submitted two articles for publication: one on how potassium foods are helping me and another on a book about autism involving transcranial magnetic stimulation. Neither one has been published.
What should I do to get published?
Where are you trying to get these things published? There are very specific rules for each place where you submit to. You have to reformat whatever it is for each specific publisher and then send it off to them, many, many times, in hopes that someone picks it up, or at least conditionally accepts it. If they conditionally accept it, they would say to make certain changes and then they would accept it.
This is just what I've found out myself, not from experience. I'm about to submit something for publishing in a peer reviewed journal myself in a couple of months.

I should have explained better. Here on wrongplanet, supposedly, users can submit articles of their own through http://wrongplanet.net/post-a-new-article/. This is where I submitted them, but pretty much every article that makes the front page seems to be a personal friend of Alex Plank.
Ohh...I've never used that before. Maybe ask a moderator or even ask Alex? You might have to wait awhile, and it's hit or miss, but he does read the regular forums sometimes. I'm sure it's not a conspiracy or anything, lol. There's just some kind of procedure or requirements that you and I don't know about.
