Ok here is the situation,

I have begun to experience burnout at my job starting in December of 2012. It has deteriorated my mind to the point where I am once again experiencing the following conditions:

Depression
Mood Swings
Attachment Disorder (well actually I don't consider this one to be too much of a bad thing.)
Anger
Naivety

Just like I did before when I was undiagnosed.

Now I utilized a little googleship and what I found was that there are face to face support services available for Adults on the spectrum in my area. My question is, does anybody else on here meet face to face with other adults under the guise of a trained professional? How effective have these services been for you?

I don't understand the question. Do you meet with a professional, or someone else under the "guise" of a professional?

Who offers these services? Are they available through your health insurance?

No, I have no experience doing that. However, quite a few of my friends have turned out to have autistic traits, and of course, it also runs in my family. So I do have support from people on the spectrum, although we don't talk much about ASD.

Yeah I saw a commercial the other day that was advertising services for kids with Autism. In the commercial they said that programs and services are not nearly as effective as a relationship with someone who really gets Autism and Asperger Syndrome.

I had and still do have a GREAT relationship with my Disability Services Coordinator at the University where I attended but unfortunately I am no longer a student and he has SOOOOO many other students he has to deal with and many of them do not want to venture out into the real world....who could blame them.

But I am going to need a face to face relationship with someone who really gets Autism and Asperger Syndrome....Because there is still soooo much about this disorder that I need to learn.
