I'm sick of having to go through every single day with my perpetual cycle of lacking any self-motivation. I don't know where to find this self-motivation. This itself takes a lot of self-motivation. My parents also are telling me I need to find motivation, but they don't understand the concept of perpetual "neverness".

Even today, it's 3:20 in the afternoon and I only woke up 20 minutes ago because I didn't have anything planned. Even when I do have something planned, I am very slow to get myself up every morning (like 30 minutes late), it's really dragging me down. I feel like if I have to do anything, it's because of somebody else.

I'm not looking for sympathy, I'm looking for an actual way to find self-motivation.

Do you have any obsessions or special interests? I know some people on here don't have those but that's how I motivate myself. When I wake up I start thinking about them and that gets me out of bed.
