Does anyone else have that same problem? I often have a million thoughts in my head, so I end up wanting to post a million threads. It's not socially acceptable on forums and people have banned me in the past because of it. It wasn't even on the terms and conditions!

On sites like Reddit that allow multiple accounts I have twenty different accounts so it won't look like I'm posting too much. It's worked pretty well.

On one forum there's an anonymous section. I post in there when I think I've posted too much.

Judging by my post count, it might be true for me. But as long as they are not pointless posts. CockneyRebel has almost twice my post count.

I've had two websites I'm a member of change rules because of my posting. One installed a 50 post count per day limit with a program that won't allow you to post more once you reach the limit (my post count there: 121,764). The 2nd site made it so that all posts made in the games forum don't get added to your total post count (post count there: 53,042). As you can see by my posting I can be pretty busy which is why my posting here suffers. :D

damn and I thought I had a lot of posts

posting a lot is only a problem when you don't have anything interesting or relevant to say and start repeating yourself

No such thing as posting too much. It's only annoying if what you're posting is completely irreverent to the forum. So as long as you don't post those number threads in here, for example. Posting lots is not an issue.

Sometime I think I don't post enough. I think my average post rate here is about 2 per day. sometimes less.

I've been told I do...I honestly don't care. I think people need to stop telling others what to do. I have to put up with all kinds of religious posts, I put up with it. I have to put up with people showing off their latest whatever it is they bought, I don't care, I put up with it. I have to put up with people posting meaningless stuff, I don't care, I put up with it. Whoever doesn't like that I post too much or what I post, is welcome to unfollow me, simple. ;-)

Judging by the post/comment count on so many of the accounts here, all I can say is,

"Welcome home."

There was a time when I posted an average of 100 posts a day. I was obsessed with the number, 100. The last time I was a big poster was before the August of 2012. I started feeling less welcome and I found a money making website. I got banned from that website and found another money making website. I was posting off and on until the February of 2014. That unwelcome feeling washed over me and I posted sporadically for a few months. I was posting heavy again in Late 2014/Early 2015, than I've found a few slot machine sites on Facebook that I play for fake money. I've also found a huge garbage bag filled with balls of yarn in the upstairs hallway of the apartment building that I live and that re-sparked my interest in loom knitting. I've been making lots of toys and scarves since than. I've also been going to Michael's frequently to top off my yarn supply. I've also been working three days a week since March. That explains why I haven't been posting as much as I used to. I did most of my posting from 2009 to 2012. I still post when I feel I have the time. There are days that I don't come around because I'm out with my friends, than I'm watching a documentary and knitting at the same time. I also wind down by playing my favourite slots on FB. When I do come around, I have just as much fun posting as I did when I first joined in the Summer of 2004.

I used to post a lot here but it got me into trouble and I don't want to repeat myself again telling the same stories. After being here for nine years, you see the same questions asked over and over and you get bored answering them. But yet I still ended with 18,000+ under this username of five years. It took me about two to get to 10,000 again and here it is over two years later and I still have 2,000 more to go before I hit 20,000 so obviously I have slowed down.
