My restricted repetitive non normal range of interests used to be Dinosaurs -> Greek History stone age, tool age, bronze age, iron age -> MMORPG and other MOBA and other Multiplayer online video games, that's only because technology has improved so much in the past 2 decades and internet and video games improved. How do you conform to normal range of interests to meet girls?

well since no girls are into dinosaurs, anthropology, or video games, I'd say you're s**t out of luck until you find barbies, fashion, and slumber parties interesting. :|

Ick, are we talking about twelve year old girls?? Barbies and slumber parties went out when the teen years happened. I was interested in dinosaurs, still am interested in video games. I'm married, though, sorry. I would try looking up some local groups like on MeetUp to see if you can meet people with similar interests.

Have to disagree with you there: dinosaurs are currently one of my special interests, and I'm definitely female :) I hate barbies, fashion and slumber parties, as it happens.

Apparently what you need is to meet autistic girls because of their atypical interests!

Personally though, one of my interests is food and cooking, and that certainly didn't hurt me. That's just one of my five or six main interests I share with my wife, but one is enough.

seaweed: I did catch on to the sarcasm, but I have a similar sense of sarcasm.

How do you explain female anthorpologists, paleontologists and video game players than?

Just find friends with similiar points of interests. Then you can meet friends through mutual friends. And with those find something in common. It's EZPZ as it sounds.

How old are you? don't be ashamed of your hobbies that's for sure, don't vent/lecture about them to everyone you see but certainly don't hide them. I used to hide the fact I like oldies 60s-70s-80s and even 10s-20s (lol!). I didn't want people to laugh at my taste in music (am 21). But if you remove a part of your armor, you become more exposed but you also feel lighter hence more relieved.

Yeah...I like dinosaurs and other prehistoric reptiles. And creepy arthropods & cephalopods, too!

Sleepovers & barbies? Not so much. Scratch that; never.

My spouse and I fell in love in part because of our similar/unusual interests. Go find someone on the spectrum or near enough.

A family acquaintance's son met his fiance because in his online dating profile he put "avid gamer". Partly because it's honest & partly because he realize everyone else is afraid to do so. He met a wonderful young woman who can outplay him in some of their favorites. They make an awesome team...
