I can endure a lot of other painful things like waxing, tattoos, cold showers, etc but I can't stand even a minor shock of electricity.. It always freaks me out..

I do everything to avoid being hit with static shocks.. It's like a flame takes more time to burn the sh*t out of you than electricity. In school, I would sometimes play around but freak out when going into certain areas of the building and touching metals..

Iiiiinteresting. I can't stand static shock and I get very anxious if I'm likely to get one. It helps if I touch metal through thick clothing.

I also can't tolerate handling frozen items, or hot things. My showers are tepid (skin temperature). I figured it was all related to sensory processing issues.

Most people don't like being shocked, but perhaps there are small minority who enjoy it.
