I would hate to have noisy neighbours, especially living above me. I think even if you put foam on your doors their noise may continue to travel through any ventilation ducts. Tramacet is a decent painkiller ive found for headaches, it is just Tramadol mixed with Tylenol, iunno if that would work for you or not.
My neighbors came back juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust as I was starting to relax. ARRRRGH. Anyway, you're probably right in that sound will still travel through the heat vents. But being that I live in a basement suite where the only thing separating me from the rest of the house is a single door, I think putting insulation on it would help a lot. Closing the door to my bedroom helps too, but it's a rather thin door compared to the one going into my suite. At least I could insulate it on both sides.
As far as Tramacet goes, it sounds like something you can only get through prescription. Is it something you would recommend for frequent tension headaches caused by stress and overstimulation? If so, how would I ask my doctor about it? I take way too much Tylenol and Advil as it is, and it would be nice to switch to something stronger that I wouldn't have to take as much of.
