Hi
I have a question does the sound toilets flushing in the restroom drive you nuts
Because in the restroom at school that have toilets that are super loud
By the way restroom is a American word for bathroom or toilet for anyone reading this outside of the USA

I feel relieved when a toilet flushes. That means it's not stopped up.

Stopped-up toilets really bother me.

I hate the sound, personally. I avoid public restrooms as much as possible.

Greetings. Nope. The sound never bothered me. But before, when my social anxiety was so high, I would avoid public bathrooms because I felt people judged me when going to the bathroom. I am now able to go to a public washroom. I also need to because of all the travelling I do.

No, I actually used to laugh at the sound. That and glass breaking

I selected "Used to" because when I was a child I was terrified of the sound of the toilet flushing. I used to make my mother come in with me and run outside of the bathroom while she flushed it, then go back in when it had stopped so that I could wash my hands.

Even when I stopped having her come in with me, I either flushed and ran or scrinched my shoulders up.

I gradually became more tolerant of the noise as I got older, to the point where it no longer bothered me at all. It was something I grew out of, it seems.

The sound freaks me out and makes me jolt in panic so yes, it bothers me.

YES. Yes yes yes. I can't stand that noise. I either avoid flushing it until absolutely necessary or cover my ears when doing so.

No. But I don't like when my parents use toilet at night because my room is right next to restroom and my bed is the same wall as the "seat" so I can hear the flushing right next to my ear. It makes me uncomfortable.
