Mind is like a convoluted book

Does describing one's mind as a convoluted book touch a chord in any of you guys.
I have a lot of stuff in my head and it seems normal people don't seem to have all of this.
But nevertheless I need this stuff to function.
Is one's mind being overly complicated a symptom of autism spectrum?
