Here's what I got:

Your Aspie score: 131 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 79 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

Which I don't believe because I might be an regular autistic person with some Aspie traits.

hmm...forget what i got on there. i think some of the questions at the end of that test are a little vague. isn't one of them are you flat footed? what does that have to do with anything?

Some questions do not correlate to anything: Do you like liver? is one of them.

Your Aspie score: 146 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 42 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

No kidding!

maybe they are investigating more different things other than the usual that austism/asperger have in common. one never knows until ask; kinda like the polls we do at WP. interesting.

OR are they trick questions?

There are some funny correlations with double-jointedness and such, it's probably similar, if not related.

I couldn't quite figure out the questions about liking to dig holes in the ground, or being fascinated with slowly flowing water, but the test seems to work pretty well, so I can't complain.

Part of RDOS theory is aspergers genes came from Neanderthals. So the liver question (which I do not remember) maybe related to higher levels of certain amino-acids in it. That in a typical all meat diet one get lots of. But in a typical diet is impossible to get enough. So one might crave liver for example to get a good dose of that amino-acid.

The flat footed question is related to the Neanderthal theory to I'm sure.

I also took this other quiz: http://www.thegeeksyndrome.com/quiz/

And they said "You are unlikely to have aspergers syndrome".

Same here. I had 17 points.

Where can I take the other test?

Aspie-quiz

There will soon be another experimental version that will probably be the last before the final version. The new experimental version will also include a copy of the AQ-test so I can compare & validate these tests against each other. I'll probably post a link here when it's out.

Rdos, can you tell us the purpose of some of the questions, such as, "Are you psychic?" I thought that one was interesting, since it didn't ask, "Do you THINK you're psychic?" I was also surprised by the liver and peripheral vision questions.

Liver has the worst texture. Just looking at it makes me want to throw up!

Peripheral vision might have to do with not looking directly at people.

I have hyperextensible fingers, which I suppose would be double-jointedness. That trait corrleates with many neuro disorders.

My Aspie score was 177 out of 200.

I forget what my NT score was but it was low.

On the other test I think I was 35 or 39. I would have to take it again to know which one.

I always begged for the liver from the chicken or turkey, when my mom cooked them. I craved it the whole time I smelled dinner cooking. When I was older and saw liver and onions on a restaurant menu, I thought it was going to be the greatest thing ever, an entire meal of liver! It was really disgusting, though, and I could barely take more than a few bites.

Hello,

Thanks for the quizzes.

Forgot what the points were, but both of them said I was Aspie.

Later,,
